Session duration – 45 minutes
Pain between the shoulder blades? Tight neck? Sore lower back? If you have some sort of pain or discomfort in relation to sitting at a work-station, then it could be a case of good muscles going bad. Our body is a learning organism that is constantly adapting to new situations and, unfortunately, prolonged sitting and the static load of using a keyboard and mouse, can cause adaptations in the muscles that lead to pain.
Like with all of our seminars, we find the that the best way to the best way to learn about the body – is to move it. Over 45 minutes you’ll be guided through a series of movements that’ll lead to a better understanding of where and why you get tight, and what you can do to release it.
We’ll also walk you through a better understanding of how chronic tightness can lead to trigger points in the muscle and give you some basic, safe techniques to release these.
This seminar is an ideal adjunct to any office ergonomics programme, improving the practical understanding of all participants, making work-station assessments and office ergonomics in general, much easier to implement.
